Advanced topics - On the Surface Mondays 6pm-8:30pm, starting April 7th
Lucy is teaching our On the Surface class which runs Mondays 6pm-8:30pm for adults. We have 2 sessions scheduled.
Session Dates:
April 7th to April 21st
This is a 3-week practice-based handbuilding, throwing and surface decoration course aimed at those with intermediate throwing or handbuilding experience. You will need to be able to center at least 2lb of clay, produce cylinders, and be able to achieve the forms that you aim for.
Included in the class is one bag of clay and many other tools and surface treatment items. We will explore decorative methods such as how to make a decorative slip with oxides, slip trailing, slip brush decoration, fluting, sgraffito, tool and stamp making
Just ensure you wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty.
