LOOKING FOR A PRIVATE EVENT?
We will supply all clay, tools, glazes, and firing. An instructor who will lead your group and each participant can choose one piece to have fired and glazed at the end of the event. Our studio team will glaze and fire your pieces and notify you when they’re ready to be picked up, that can be anyhwere from 3-6 weeks after your event. Please note, Tacoma Clay cannot guarantee the success or results of the work. We are not liable for unsuccessful work (work that is damaged, broken, missing, or disposed of after posted dates).

If you are thinking far in advance, as we are, think about a unique holiday event for your work team or family! Holidays and holiday seasons can bring us all together. We will be offering special options for holiday events, including chimes, ornament making, luminaries, cozy hot cocoa mugs. Just indicate that you are interested in a holiday option in your inquiry form and we will keep you in mind as we approach.

Looking for something fun, creative and unique? Our clay studio offers private ceramics workshops designed to bring people together—perfect for team-building or any occasion!
Currently, we are offering in-studio workshops. You bring your group to our welcoming Tacoma studio for a hands-on ceramics experience.
Tacoma Clay runs daily classes and workshops in our studio. Private events can only be scheduled outside of class and workshop times. Our online calendar lists all of our class and workshop times.
Please plan for everyone in your group to arrive at least 10 minutes before your event start time. We cannot lengthen event times to accommodate late arrivals.
